I cannot recommend this product vastly enough. I swear it saved me a trip to the ER! After using it, I bought one for each of our cars, the backpacking kit, the garage, and the family initially aid kit. I would give one to anyone you like – it really works the way it says. Especially if you are going to be out in the wilderness camping or backpacking and such, I would be sure and take at least one!

It works as promised!. Let’s say that you’ve taken your kids to the local library. As you’re leave-taking to go back to the car, you belt you head on the door and open a scalp laceration that won’t stop bleeding. Because scalp lacerations bleed like the Mississippi River, you’re three children won’t stop screaming and people reckon that a murder has just been committed.
You were lucky enough to have been given a QuikClot Sport by someone who knows and likes you. You take the QuikClot out of the initially Aid kit in your car, open the package and place it frankly on the laceration and the bleeding stops instantly. No stitches, no emergency room, sreaming, worried children. It works like magic.
You need one in every car, the garage and the workshop. You also need to give them as gifts to your clumsy friends and fitness enthusiasts. People will call you names and tease you until they call and thank you!

Initially, I will NOT discount the usefulness identified in the other two reviews. It worked fantastic for them, and more power to them.
Just one thing – QuikClot is an exothermic agent, importance it generates heat when it hits body fluid. Alot. Do this test. Drop QuikClot in a glass of water and watch. Consequently, use it carefully. It has been known to make burns in surrounding tissue, chief some experts to caution it’s use on any fantastic bleeding on the torso.
Celox is not an exothermic agent that does the same job. Our medic ditched our QuikClot for Celox.
Not to say it doesn’t work. It most certainly does. And not to say the other reviewers didn’t benefit from it. They apparently did. Just throwing out some informatoin.
