Ordered these on last week cause they appealed to me more than the other set of Baoding Balls I have.
I ordered them on April 14, 2010. Amazon said the order might not be delivered until May 06, 2010, but mine showed up in the mail only 2 days after I ordered. They are exactly as pictured, the box is made of sturdy cardboard and is covered with some pretty nice fabric inside and out. Makes for a nice storage or show box. Only thing with the box was that the cardboard support was ripped, so I just made another one out of foam, but otherwise it’s very nice. Especially compared to some other boxes you find with baoding balls.
The balls are solid granite (pretty sure it’s granite) very charming with no bumps or dents or anything.
Just so you know, these are excellent sized (just a small under 2″ diameter)so these ones aren’t for small hands, and they’re very heavy compared to smaller hollow metal ones. But this is perfect for me. I’d certainly buy these again.
