I bought one which worked fine for three weeks, then it stopped in succession. Bought another on yesterday, plugged it in, nothing happened. The motors don’t work.

Well, I must say I’m greatly displeased; even on day one this had vex coming on and staying on. Half the buttons would only work for a five second interval.
On high this worked for about two days and even then not fantastic. Not fantastic means it would just kick off and over the five days it increasingly got worse. I finally gave up. When it did work it was fantastic but since it didn’t well my search for a clad humidifier continues.
FYI in you compare it to the crane penguin it’s surpass if it had worked. Because this unit is evaporative the colorless dust isn’t a issue.

We just got this unit yesterday, used it one night. It worked fantastic but by the next night it had a horrible burning smell, so I twisted it off and then back on. The only thing that worked was the light show no fan at any speed. I would say that I got a lemon but another reviewer had the same problem.

I have used Vornado for years, and it puts more moisture in the air than any other I have tried. Nice to have a product do just what it promises!
It is VERY dry here in the winter, and I have antiques. We have 6 Vornados and wouldn’t do without them. And they are made in America too!
