I bought these while on vacation for my daughter who woke with a fever. I was SOO relieved not to have to keep bothering her while she was already upset just to take her temp. All I had to do was lift her arm and read. It was so simple and she didn’t mind at all. They even stayed on through a bath!! When my daughter gets sick I always want to know her temp and these are the perfect way to give me that info without coming at her with a traditional thermometer. Get them. have a supply of up on them. they will give you peace of mind and keep your child undisturbed while not feeling well.

So much simpler than using any thermometer! I use it to keep guard of my 17 month’s temp when he’s sick. He despises the ear thermometer and I prefer not to use the rectal unless his temp has hit a certain point. LOVE THIS!

My son had RSV 2 times so I had to take his temperature regularly. I plotting that this would be a fantastic way to check it all day and throughout the night. It was always several degrees off. I emailed Vicks and they told me I must not be doing it properly. I read, reread and reread the directions and believe me, I did it just aptly and it did not work. This is a fantastic thought, but not dependable at all.

I have had these for years and they have come in quite handy. They are simple to use. The only cons that I have are:
1) it is hard to read the tiny numbers (even with my glasses on)
2) when my son has a fever he sweats a lot and they do not always stay in his armpit.
But, the readings have been pretty accurate, and I like the fact that you get a lot of these in the pack. So, if one falls off, it’s no huge deal to just get another.
