I was a long-time Vick’s Vaporub user and i used it constantly due to it’s high-level of sanction, which I didn’t find Vaporub to be very excellent at muscle aches frankly but clad at helping you breathe. There are 2 products that out-perform Vaporub I found over the years. There’s Mentholatum(a stronger ointment),and Mineral Ice(the strongest-comes in a gel form).Depends on your preference of the two wether your’e wanting a ointment or a gel.Vick’s best product-Dayquil/Nyquil,beyond that I’ll never buy Vaporub again

I have not found somewhere that offers a surpass buy on this stuff than amazon. 2 (6 oz.) jars for $25 with no shipping is such a fantastic deal. At my local CVS store, you can only buy about half this amount for $25. I use it on my feet after a long day at work. My husband and I also use it when we have colds,to come undone up chest congestion. Like this!

Both my wife and I grew up with our parents giving us a Vicks’ rub when we were sick. Now that we have our own kids, we still using the same product. It gives them comfort from regular sicknesses. It helps them sleep surpass when their chest are congested. It also works fantastic to rub it to their feet. Sometimes my wife place dab a small bit of it around her eyes, she says it helps her to sleep
I have tried cheaper generics from groceries but they don’t work as well. They seem to be less concentrated and not much calming vapor.

I’ve only seen the Vicks cream in stores. It’s not as heady as the ancient rub I remembered. This stuff is the real McCoy–just like when I was a kid.

I’ve used Vicks VapoRub every night for last 30 or so years. Yes, that’s aptly–I’ve used it since I was a small girl!
Now, when I was small, I place it IN my nostrils (which you’re not held to do). Now, I just apply it UNDER my nose to help me breathe at night.
Why I’ve needed it, I hadn’t known–until recently. Apparently, I have a abstractedly deviated septum AND I have non-allergic rhinitis which mimics actual allergies (I test negative for allergies).
So while Sudafed has helped in the past and now, Nasonex, Benadryl and Astelin, I’m still using excellent ol’ Vicks VapoRub to help me get a excellent night sleep! And the excellent thing is that these jars seem to last FOREVER. I probably only have to buy it once every year or two!
Of course, VapoRub is also excellent chest colds and vaporizers–but ya know, I never used it for that, even on my son! (He’s rarely sick).
