Baby Vicks works wonders.. The smell is soft for a baby and it help my daughter sleep though the night. She has a cold and she is 4 months ancient. My mom gave me this and I place it on a small towel and lay it between her undershirt and pjs. I do not place on her skin and the smoke still work. Like this.

Aptly after my twins had their 1st Birthday one of them got a slight runny nose on a Friday and the next night she woke up with a very stuffy, snotty, runny nose. We didn’t have any Vicks Baby Rub, nor had I ever used it. That night my daughter kept waking up all night long crying.
Next day when the pharmacy opened my husband went and got some Vicks Baby Rub. I didn’t expect it to smell so refreshing since it was for babies but it has a lot of smell, not overwhelming or anything, it is a perfect-calming smell for sick babies.
Her nose seemed to get worse when she was napping or sleeping at night so before her naps and at bedtime I would smear a generous amount on her chest, neck & back. She seemed to cool down when I place this on her so I reckon she found the scent refreshing & calming.
This rubs in really well too.
Since there is not really anything you can give babies, I reckon this is a MUST HAVE, anything you can do is surpass than nothing. I also use the Vicks Vaporizor during naps and at night time, it makes a fantastic deal of steam in a very small amount of time.
Both my daughters finished up having the same cold so I used the Baby Rub on both of them. They both would cool down after I place this on them.
This is a fantastic thing to have on hand so you don’t get stuck in the middle of the night w/out any when you have a sick/fussy baby.
I reckon a clean baby shower gift would be the Vicks Vaporizor, Vicks Baby Rub and Vicks Rectal Thermometer and maybe some Tylenol. Most people don’t reckon of registering for things like that(at least I didn’t) so they end up having to run out and get these items at the last minute when they have a sick baby.

This stuff works so excellent I started using this on my son when he was 2 /3 months ancient. I’d place it on his back, chest & feet with socks on it really helped him breath surpass at night…
