Twinlab has Psyllium husks like most of the other brands but they do include friendly bacteria cultures as a bonus. i am 67 and I take this every day, have not had any colon tribulations for several years now.

This is my favorite colon care product on the market. I mix this stuff with my protein shakes, like MetRx, and it works wonders. It contains Psyllium Husks, Barley Malt, Acidophilus, Bifidus and Vitamin C. The reasons for each ingredient are described on the box. Basically, Barley Malt and Vitamin C help promote the growth of the friendly bacteria cultures Acidophilus and Bifidus, and the Psyllium Husks are a gentle fiber. I can really feel the difference when I’m using this stuff regularly.
Watch out though, the product is packed in glass jars that can break during shipping. The initially time I ordered this from Amazon, the stuff wasn’t packaged properly and both jars broke. Amazon sent out a replacement and they arrived unbroken, even though the packaging wasn’t any surpass. I will order it again from Amazon when I run out. I just wish Twin Labs would use fake jars.
