This thermometer is a fantastic concept, but, it never worked. I replaced the battery, but that didn’t help. It twisted on and looked at though it was going to take a temp and then…nothing. My 3 and 5 year olds did not like how it sat in their mouth.

I have bought this item in other places and it has always come with the battery..so just fyi..I was disappointed to have to go out and get batteries.and then to have to take the thing apart to install them.

I got this a few weeks ago. Works really quick, simple and the clever design makes it very simple to use. Would vastly recommend! Glow in the dark show is very useful too!

I have two small children so I regularly have a need for an accurate thermometer that isn’t uncomfortable. This is it.
The electronic stick thermometers are too unwieldy for an 18 month ancient to deal with, and their numbers are too hard to read. The ancient fashioned liquid thermomteters take forever to get to an accurate temp.
These are simple for a small child to hold under their tongue, announce a read in about 10 seconds, and are consistent and accurate (compared against an ancient genuine mercury thermometer)
An exceptional product, vastly recommended. I now give them as gifts at baby showers.
