Very effective, well built, silent. I wish I had bought a Thumper years ago and not spent so much time and money on massages (though professional massages have their place, for sure). I can come home from work, have a glass of wine, take my shoes off, massage my shoulders, legs, back, arms, hands and feet and in 15 minutes I’m a much surpass self. Works very well through clothing; no need to disrobe. It says not to use it on head or neck, but I use it carefully on the back of my neck and jaw muscles and it releases tension there very quickly. I’ve used low-priced battery operated massagers, but this powerful percussive massager sets up trembling aptly through the muscles, not just on the surface. Quite a different effect. No bearing down, or wishing it had more oomph.
