Product Description
Many people experience difficulty in using their bath either as a result of illness or limitations to their mobility. If you are having difficulty with getting in and out of the bath you may be considering using one of a number of products designed to make bathing safer and simpler.
If you are looking to delight in the benefits of a soak in the bath without the disruption or cost of having your bathroom adapted you may find using a bath lift is the answer. Most bath lifts are effectively a seat that can be placed securely in the bath when needed. When raised to its upright position it should be level with the top of your bath. You can then sit on your bath lift and go your feet and legs over into the bath. You then lower the seat into the bath, with the water already in it, and regain the pleasure of a relaxing bath. When you are finished the bath lift is raised to the starting position and you can exit the bath without having to run the water out initially. When not in use your bath lift can be removed from the bath leave-taking it free for other users.
A bath lift is regularly preferable to a shower (and shower seat) because it offers you the muscle relaxing benefits that a soak in the bath has to place forward.

The bathlift appears to work okay, but I have sent an inquiry about it and received no answer! It came with no instructions, and I have two pieces left over which I don’t know what to do with! Also, would like an thought about how long a full charge takes and how long it lasts. And will bath oil gum up the works? All these questions I sent to them and have never had any answers.

This is a excellent, sturdy bath lift. It works smoothly and the battery stays charged for a quite a few days. The bather is always in control of the rate of the lift and descent into the tub. The price on this is exceptional. I priced bathtubs with built in lifts and they cost into the thousands. The only caution; If your tub has any kind of patterning or graininess in the base, the suction cups won’t work. The suction cups on the bottom of the lift adheres to charming surface tubs only. On a charming surface, the suction is very powerful and the lift is very reliable. This is a excellent lift for injured or older people. A paraplegic self can use this. Using it allows for independence in bathing or bathing with very small help. The remote is very simple to operate. Set up is very simple…no tools required. Battery needs a 24 hour charge before lift can be used.

We bought the Sterling 311 for my 74-year ancient mother because her chronic back pain made it impracticable for her to get down into the bathtub, even with help. From the very initially day she used it, she loved it. She is now even confident enough to use it without having to have someone with her.
Before purchasing the Sterling 311, we had reviewed both the walk-in bathtub (Cost: $3000-$4000, plus installation) and an inflatable bath lift (Cost: $1400, and non-returnable.) We chose the Sterling 311 not only for the lower cost (under $600 delivered) but because the installation was simple, and, disparate the inflatable lift, we had the option to return the product if it did not work well for my mom.
