I found the strips wouldn’t stay attached to my skin, even though the packaging claims they’re self-glue. Maybe they would work well on a flatter part of the body (I was using them for horizontal scars across my chest), or for someone who doesn’t sweat. I can’t recommend them, though.

I rarely leave reviews but this product is such a disappointment I felt I had to say something. Make sure you be with you that these can only be worn for 7 days!! I have used many silicone sheets and have never run across any that can only be used for a week before you have to throw them away. That’s ridiculous given the amount of time you really need to wear silicon to see consequences. I could believe my “excellent luck” finding these are such a fantastic price, yeah aptly. Now I know why. Yes you get 12 sheets but I have a couple of feet of scar that needs to be addressed. I am sending these back and buying the more expensive ones that last forever.

I used Scarway on my burn scars and had incredible consequences. My scars were initially dark red and raised up, thick and wrinkled in advent (for lack of a surpass description). A few spots had developed mass-like keloid scars that were about 1/4″ in height and very shiny. I bought some larger strips and some smaller size strips. For the larger area I used 2 of the 7″ strips side by side to cover the approximately 2″ x 6″ larger burn area, and used the smaller sheets cut in half for the other smaller burns. I am etremely pleased as I have seen a tremendous enhancement after treatment with ScarAway. The main area has faded nicely and the texture of my skin has greatly improved. The smaller surrounding burn scars have all but vanished. They are not even noticeable. Wearing the ScarAway material also helped much in reducing my discomfort in the areas as well. The 3 spots that deleoped keloids took a bit longer…as any of you who have had the misfortune of dealing with keloids knows, they can be a real hassle. The keloids are reduced greatly. I would say they reduced by about 3/4 of the original height and continue to improve with each week of treatment. I just had a visit with my doctor who was pleased with my progress and recommended I continue using the ScarAway patches on the keloids for another 8 weeks, and also that I place the ScarAway strips on the main burn scar when going out in the sun. Anyone with burns should question their doctor about ScarAway. I certainly recommend.

These strips are incredible. I have used them on a surgical incision for 4 weeks and even if they do not help with overall scarring I would vastly recommend for comfort alone. The itching stopped immediately and they provide protection from irritation from clothes.

After a thorough search for the perfect scar treatment, I found the one. This was vastly recommended from numerous people and after reading the reviews I was pretty much “sold” but I still had some uncertainities based on the fact that I didn’t know anything about the product. I chose to go ahead and order one package to see what it could do…Wow! After a few days, I really saw a difference! My scar that was abstractedly “raised” and dark became lighter and softer. It even helped out with keloid prevention which I was worried about. ScarAway does its job and fullfill its promise.
The only negative about the product is that after a few days the glue becomes dull (even after the recommended wash with warm water and mild soap). Sometimes, my pants and undergarments gets tangled in it and pulls away from my skin. Also, when I’m tossing and turning at night, it also partially falls off..so be careful about that.
So all in all, the product is incredible. The only modification I would make is inventing a protective layer so the glue doesn’t remove before it’s 7-day time.
