I recently bought this thermometer. After setting the time and reading the instructions I attached the oral tip and received an error message. After several attempts and several tip replacements, the thermometer still did not work. I am persistent this thermometer. I will continue to use the $10 Safety 1st thermometer that I have always used. It is accurate and is very simple to use, even on a fussy baby.
