I bought 3 and my family of 4 uses them nightly-it’s smaller than a ordinary pad. I like them!!!

We’ve used buckwheat hull pillows for years and our ancient ones needed replacing. It’s incredible that they are not more readily unfilled. Yes, they are smaller than an average size pad, but they provide a completely different sleep experience. You can buy them in a larger size, but I really don’t reckon it would improve anything. This size seems surpass for the head support. If your head or neck perspires at all when you sleep (my husbands head does and my neck sometimes does..) these are fantastic to help keep you cool and dry. You can mold them to help support your head, and if you are a side sleeper they don’t smush down on you. There isn’t a lot of noise ~ I reckon it’s a soft and comforting sound. Once you get it in the position you want there isn’t any more unless you go a lot. I have painful shoulders and also prefer to sleep on my side ~ not a excellent combination apart from with this pad! It chains my head so I don’t end up with a sore neck or more pain in my shoulder. The only problem we have with it aptly now is that they’re new and have a bit of dust we’ve had to shake out. We buy regular sized pad cases and sew them down to the smaller size. They’re smaller size also makes them simpler to travel with, but they do weigh a bit more. For us there is nothing surpass for head and neck support, but we do use regular pillows as ‘hug’ pillows. =D

pad fits inside a ordinary sized pad case with lots of floppy room. Needed to sew pad cases small to fit well.

Confession, I brought mine back from a trip to China. They’re fantastic–somewhat smaller than a US pad, they mold and conform to your head and neck perfectly and then provide constant support without squish or bounce. And they are cool–the buckwheat husks allow air to pass through and conduct away heat. I wouldn’t be without one, and I didn’t reckon they were even unfilled in the US until I saw this ad. If you want firm but perfectly contoured support, this is your pad.
