This control is designed to validate visual and instrumental readings of urine dipsticks by immersing the measuring rod into the control??”the same way a patient sample is tested. Values are provided for all ten measuring rod assays: urobilinogen, bilirubin, blood, leukocytes, nitrite, glucose, specific gravity, protein, ketones and pH, plus qualitative values for hCG for early detection pregnancy test methods. A new feature is the added creatinine and microalbumin. The Dipper is intended for use with the Multistix, Chemstrip, Diascreen, Uriscan and other urinalysis reagent strips and for confirmatory tests such as Acetest, Clinitest and Ictotest reagent tablets.
