Eases breathing for asthma patients by reducing spasms of bronchial muscles. Helps come undone phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and make coughs more productive. INGREDIENTS:Active Ingredients: Per Tablet: Ephedrine Hydrochloride USP 12.5 mg; Guaifenesin USP 200 mg.Inactive Ingredients: Crospovidone; D&C Golden-haired No. 10 Aluminum Lake; FD&C Golden-haired No. 6 Aluminum Lake; Magnesium Stearate; Microcrystalline Cellulose; Povidone; Silicon Dioxide (Colloidal).DIRECTIONS:Do not use more than dosage below unless directed by a doctor. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: take 2 tablets initially, then 2 tablets every 4 hours, as needed, not to exceed 12 tablets in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age: question a doctor. WARNINGS:Do not use: unless a diagnosis of asthma has been made by a doctor; if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric, or emotional situation, or Parkinson’s disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, question a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Question a doctor before use if you have: heart disease; high blood difficulty; thyroid disease; diabetes; vex urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland; ever been hospitalized for asthma; cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus); cough that lasts or is chronic such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema.
