If you want a medicine which does exactly what it is held to without any observable side effects this is the one.
I have used it for 8 years daily and it works for me just as described.

Prlosec is a fantastic product and I use it every day. But watch what you pay. Even before shipping expenditure you can find the 42-tablet package for under $25 — at Target for occasion.

This medicine did not work for me at all. I got all the side effects of itchiness all over the body, headaches, backaches, abdominal pains, without any enhancement on my heartburns. I used this medicine for a month and my chronic heartburns got even worse that I could not even sleep at night. My doctor finally switched my medicine to Prevacid, which worked a lot surpass for me. I bought so many packs of Prilosec (I had to take them twice a day for 2 months) and now it’s going useless.

I have acid reflux that lasted for a year and a half. I took 1 tablet of prilosec a day in the morning, because I felt something stuck in my throat since I have really terrible Gerd. This magic pill saved me. I don’t even take prilosec anymore because I’m fully healed. Thankfulness prilosec!
