If you have a sports injury, some web sites suggest this device. I used it and found no “deep heating” sensation like is advertised. I am NOT a doctor, but I suggest that if you are in real pain . . . go to a doctor . . . get real physical therapy . . . don’t waste your time with this toy.

I bought this ultrasound device a year and half ago. Since I’m a veteran of years of physical therapy, I really needed my own ultrasound device since it was the only thing beside icing that would allow my tennis elbow to heal. But, it doesn’t last long. I tried to used it earlier this year and it wouldn’t work. It’s not heavy-duty, and only excellent for a year or so as I found out. I’m buying a replacement one as of now. It does work, but doesn’t heat up, but then the professional ones that physical therapists uses don’t heat up either. This device is excellent for repetitive strain injuries when you need to get the blood flowing thru the inflamed tissues and don’t forget to use ice as well to keep inflammation down.

A small early to make a rating choice on this product as I have only been using it for 3 weeks. I am using it to treat severe inflamation caused by heel spurs. I have had this problem for about 10 months so I am not expecting any quick fix solution. It will be twelve to twenty four months before the Consultant can see me so I chose to self-help. At present I notice small enhancement but am ever hopeful!!!

I am extremely annoyed that it has been 3 weeks since I bought this item and it has still not arrived. It was listed as “in have a supply of” and was held to have been shipped aptly away. When you are in pain, you don’t want to wait more than 3 weeks to get your item, especially when they don’t bother to inform you and you have to track it down. I hope it works when it does come!!

BAIT AND SWITCH
I ordered this Model 2000 Ultrasound Device. I received it in a timely fashion but when I opened it the foam surrounding the gel was ripped. It looked new so I went ahead and tried it. Worked fine so I chose to remove the UPC sticker on the front of the case. It is a Model 1000 and they deliberately covered up the model number with the sticker. I also wonder now if it was used. Back it is going and I suggest no one ever order from them. I am sorry that I have to give it even 1 star.
