This stuff works fantastic if you suffer from Interstitial Cystitis. I vastly recommend it and their are no side effects! It cuts down on the amount of acid that your body produces, works surpass than antacids for heartburn too.

This product has helped me with such foods as russet, tea and other acidy foods like tomatoes. As with many IC patients, acid foods are not the only culprit for flare ups and I have to watch my oxalates too (Prelief does not help with that).
I vastly recommend this product as part of your program in dealing with IC (Interstitial Cystitis).

I found this product was recommended by the ICNetwork. My case is relatively mild, but when I’m in unfamiliar food territory (potlucks, and catered meals), I use this product and it does work. No flares. I even used it when I was at a banquet where they served Chinese food which I couldn’t avoid, and it did the trick.

As a sufferer of Interstitial Cystitis, I was excited to try out Prelief since I’ve had to drastically change my diet to avoid more acidic foods. I followed the instructions on the pot signifying that Prelief be taken 3 times a day every day as opposed to only when acidic food is eaten. I took 2 tablets 3 times a day and surrounded by 24 hours I had a full-blown IC flareup on my hands which took a couple weeks to get under control, which included a doctor’s visit, lab tests, and prescriptions. I haven’t taken Prelief since, and am open to possibly taking it when I eat acidic foods, but nothing would induce me to take it regularly again. My doctor plotting that perhaps it had made my bladder too alkaline too quick and upsetting its delicate balance is what caused a flareup. I am giving Prelief 2 stars because of the experience I had, but I am not discounting the possibility that I might be able to use it successfully in the future.

I use this along with Buffer PH and Cystoprotek as my arsonal against interstitial cystitis. It helps neutralize acidic foods and beverages and has calcium, too!
