I bought these for my mom when she had her hip and knee replacement surgeries. She loved them from the start, saying that they made her feel much more reliable going in and out of the shower stall in her bathroom and walking across the tile floor. When she went in for outpatient physical therapy, she questioned me to buy her another pair to take to her water exercises and she’s gotten a lot of compliments on them from the others there. I tried them on myself and noticed that they give a lot of traction but are just as bendable as a pair of socks, and nearly just as light. They’re much lighter than the neoprene pool shoes that they also sell, anyway, and the open mesh allows for the water to flow freely over feet while in the shower.
These are a must for people with diminished mobility/balance or for anyone who wants to feel a small more sure-footed in and around the pool. I am so glad I found these.
