I bought this to chart my ovulation so my husband and I could prep to have a baby next year. I did get the ferning patterns during the time that seemed to be around my ovulation dates but I also got the ferning patterns aptly after my menstruation too. On another occasion, it had no ferning pattern when I expected it to have them but I wanted to test this it out, so I tried it again in the day time even though you’re held to do the test only once a day in the morning after you wake up. There were the ferning patterns! So I’m just a small skeptical about how well it works. Or maybe my saliva was muddled in the morning. So I wouldn’t rely solely on this although it could help if used continously and in ideal situation.
