My asthma specialist recommnded the OptiHaler because I was complaining about carrying both an inhaler and a spacer in my purse. My purse is pretty small and I didn’t really to go to a larger purse and so I gave this one a try. I absolutely LOVE it! It is compact, the albuterol tank (as i call it) fits inside of the chamber while it is being stored, gets removed and place on the top and then it works very similarly to a regular apacer. Tonight I am purchasing my third one! I lost the cap to the initially one, am using the second one and just want a back up. Sadly, my shape care company no longer carries them but thankfully Amazon.com does.
