This incense smells excellent, but not like pine. It smells most like the smoke you might smell in a Catholic Church, and if you like that, then you’ll probably be pleased with this. Otherwise, try burning a pine bough, or something. It burns for the advertised burn time (25 mins).

These sticks smell fantastic and the scent stays for at least 3 hours after it is finished burning. The only downside: the sicks are only 4 to 5 inches long. But the box comes with 50+ sticks so it cancels out the shortness.

Don’t bother with any kind of incense you find at any local store, cause you can be sure they won’t be carrying this stuff. Nippon Kodo is probably the best kind of incense you can buy for manifold reasons.
Burns cleaner. Yep, it’s pure incense and not some batter-dipped stick, so all you get is a fantastic smell in your room. The incense I used to burn was batter-dipped and it always smelled more of burning wood than of the incense itself.
Lasts long. The sticks aren’t that long at all, but they still last a excellent 20-30 minutes. Not only that, but it’s powerful smell so you won’t have to use 2 at a time or anything.
Price. Even after the cost of shipping, it’s still really low-cost for a 50 stick box. There’s really no reason for you to not try out this incense if you are just getting into burning incense, or have already been doing it a while. I’d say this is the best incense on the market aptly now, and after giving it a shot, I bet you’ll say the same.
