Someone on a website recommended this as a substitute for Cavilon spray. We are using it to protect skin that is heading for a bedsore on a confined to bed elderly self. It is helping very much at half the price of the Cavilon product.

I bought this product assuming it would seal my cut with a waterproof bacteria proof layer. It easily lost integrity whenever it was wet while washing my hands, which reopened my cut and caused annoyance and constant reapplication. A ordinary “Band-Aid” Glue Strip type of bandage would have provided the same layer of water sensitive barrior, but I guess this was more durable when dry and less permeable to bacteria than an glue strip. I will use this in the future when water isn’t an issue, but when I need to get wet I’ll seal cuts with a different Cyanoacrylate glue. Perhaps I will try LiquiVet, Vetbond or Dermabond.
