The NEW Serola Sacroiliac Belt is the same belt in basic gathering as the original but with a significant change in comfort and grip. The initially layer is changed from cotton to an open-cell urethane foam.
The Urethane Layer has several advantages over the original cotton layer. The open-cell urethane is breathable, more comfortable, moisuture-wicking, and hypoallergenic (so it can be worn frankly against the skin). Plus, it conforms to boyd curves surpass. Due to it’s tacky nature it grips so well that it will not more even on the most active people.

Before I got this belt, I was using one of my martial arts belts (2″ wide 100% cotton) as I waited for this belt to simulate stabilization. This martial arts belt method worked in very much the same way … so I knew that this belt would provide some relief and that I would be able to wear it without looking like a Ninja or something.
The belt provides stabilization for sacro-iliac (SI) joints that might be a bit loose. In my occasion, this is part of an entire regimen which includes TENS, pain meds and some stretching. This along with my Carex Coccyx Cushion (I own 3 of them) provide nice relief in the car, on seats and when traveling. The belt is nice but can be a bit uncomfortable when sitting. I find myself using it when permanent or trying to walk to do stretches that exacerbate that extremely painful joint.
This belt is more expensive than some of the others but I reckon it is worth the money in construction alone. It is very well made and comfortable.
5 stars.

While this belt does work and stayed in place, it irritated my skin severely after wearing for about half a day with normal activity. The rash took 3 days to go away after using cortisone cream. I would not recommend this belt for anyone with even abstractedly sensitive skin, or else wear it over clothing.

For me, this product didn’t help much. In the end, frequent hamstring and piriformis stretches were more effective.
Your exact SI problem and solution may be different, so it may be worth a try.

When used in the proper way, this belt helps a lot, but is not a solution. Excercise is the real thing. I use this belt when I have to do work that requires bending over or other positions that stress the lower back and the SI-joint in particular. The belt can be used frankly on the body or over the pants and is simple to clean.

Fantastic support, I like it. Stays in place the skin can breath. The velcro can poke you if you don’t get it just aptly.
