   All of sudden on Friday night (Feb. 3) I felt uncomfortable in my chest and started coughing forcefully. I felt mucus, too, so I chose to give it a try on this medicine. It didn’t do a thing. Nothing. I was coughing as I was before taking this Mucinex. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

   I had a terrible cough before I bought the MucinexDM, severe enough to be awakened out of my sleep. It suppressed the cough symptoms, & by taking it as directed the other cold symptoms have slowly subsided.

   It has been a week.

   I’d say I’m @ about 80%.

   Mucinex is a must-have for asthmatics whom are attacked by mucus. Why? Mucinex dissolves mucus, which prevents air flow.

   As an uninsured asthmatic in the USA, this time-released product, coupled with antihistamines, makes side-effected inhaler use extremely RARE [especially when a terrible cold is present].

   My wife uses this daily. She has acid reflux and it helps her clear her throat.

   I use this product every day for help with asthma. I live in an area where this is a common problem. Also helps with colds and allergies. Really helps to thin out mucus and stop coughing.
