Like another reviewer here I have narcotic-correlated constipation. But, this is a really new problem for me. At 48 I’ve never had any kind of constipation tribulations my total life. Only recently has my chronic pain necessitated me to take more pain killers than in years past (I’ve had chronic pain for over 30 years) and only in the past few weeks has constipation be converted into a problem I can’t treat with just increasing my fiber intake naturally. Miralax is PERFECT for me as it indeed loosens my stool just enough. I absolutely recommend this product as one to at least try, of course with your doctors sanction and guidance. Constipation can be caused by many different things so be sure you’ve been seen before self-treating.

A word of warning, if you have the condition of “Chronic Idiopathic Constipation” Miralax over time makes the original condition worse. It did this for me in about two and a half years, I saw this information on a web page about research done on Miralax.

I plotting it was very misleading to picture two bottles of MiraLax alongside the on paper description when only
one pot is being offered for the stated price. The product itself is fine, but the ad rather devious.
