I was excited when my dr told me that I would be able to save money buying the generic Zyrtec at Sam’s. I am on Zyrtec daily due to really terrible allergies. I took this medicine at bedtime. In the middle of the night, I woke up scratching like my skin was on fire! When I twisted on the light, I was covered in hives all over my body! I hadn’t changed any soaps or lotions, so the only thing I could reckon of that caused the hives was this Member’s Mark Cetirizine that I bought at Sam’s. I immediately bought the real Zyrtec the next morning and the hives start to disappear. I tried the Member’s Mark Cetirizine again this past weekend to see if it really caused the hives. Once again, I woke up in the middle of the night with my skin on fire and hives all over my body. I would certainly not recommend this medicine to anyone!

I was really excited to see nearly a year’s supply for under $20, but I have had small success with this generic. I know that by law, the main ingredient(s) has to be the same, as well as the way it acts on the body and in the same timeframe, etc., but something isn’t aptly with this tablets. I take it every morning, but it is as if I hadn’t taken anything the entire day. I haven’t tried going back to brand name Zyrtec yet, but it always worked for me in the past!

You can buy nearly a years worth of these for the price of a couple of weeks of Zyrtec. They seem to work the same and the savings are very noticable. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure this one out.
