I can be with you form being vital. Really, I appreciate a lovely bathroom and fantastic-looking toilet, I do; but when you’re older and your back hurts getting up from that gorgeous toilet, then gathering takes over.
And if you’re on Social Security or simply a retired pension, so does economy. Others may look surpass; but do they work surpass? Are they really less utilitarian looking when left sitting on the commode? If nothing more, this one is priced as your initially “try out” raised seat.
I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these long ago, whether from vanity or lack of knowledge of such things. My seat broke and I was checking Amazon for a replacement, simple as that. Developed spinal tribulations and could not lower my body into a chair without excrutiating pain. This raised seat just enough to keep the pain at a minimum. Sits on toilet bowl (you can toilet seat or not…)and lower lip keeps it from moving around, simple to clean.

Store your current seat and lid, because it isn’t used with this product. It is a functional useful product, but really makes the bathroom look institutional looking. If you want gathering not form, this product does fine.
