How it Works
The beauty of Mattress Sprite lies in its simple, yet effective three-component design. The maintenance-free pump is controlled by a two-stage turbine design to give extraordinary lifting power and long-term reliability. It uses electricity to pump air into the lift chamber. The lift chamber is made of a thick, durable polymer with double welded seams that preclude air from escaping. It’s so strong that it can easily raise as much as 500 pounds. Does exactly what it says it will do. If you have small animals, they will try to get into the spaces between the mattress and box spring after the sprite is inflated. Also, the mattress does slip a small. A footboard would be surpass, but the slippage occurs over the course of several days. It’s not like you’ll wake up on the floor, but you will have to shift the mattress back into place every few days.

The bed lift is installed under a 6″ foam mattress. One side would always lean. I took two pieces of 3/16 ply-board and used duct tape for a hinge at the folding point. I installed this between the mattress and the lift. Now it’s level and established.

This is probably the best $125 I’ve spent in awhile! Instead of stacking and wrestling with pillows to get comfortable, I raise the head of my bed just a tad and sleep SO much surpass!
