This product is so foul-smelling that it is utterly unusable. The moment we removed it from the package we were truly shocked at the unpleasant odor of the lubricant. It’s hard to describe the horrible funk of this product, but my boyfriend described it this way: “Remember persons fake He-Man action figures? This is what I imagine He-Man’s crotch smells like.” I would deject anyone from purchasing this product.

My husband and I were recently being treated for pneumonia, and the antibiotics we were prescribed canceled out my birth control. Our family doctor suggested using condoms for the next month until the tablets was out of our systems. I knew that if I had to use condoms, we were NOT going to pick up an average latex condom. Our goal was to pick up a lambskin since neither of us had tried it, but upon noticing the price, we chose to try these, polyisoprene condoms by Lifestyles called SKYN. I mean, they sounded fantastic!
Last night was Valentines Day, and we finally got around to using one, with high hopes. Lets place it this way… There was plenty of natural lubrication before we started using the condom… Once it entered, I dried up like a condense, which isnt normal considering that Im a healthy 26 year ancient girl. Not only did this condom dry me out on contact, it was more noticeable than a normal ancient latex condom. There was nothing “skyn” about this. We pulled it off immediately and tried to salvage the mood, but it was nearly impracticable to do with the burning feeling this condom had given me (Due to drying me out so much).
Also, the smell is AWFUL. I dont know how to describe the smell other than it smells like rotting animal carcasses in a hot desert sun.
I wouldnt wish these condoms on my worst enemy. They are uncomfortable, smelly, and just all around crap. DO NOT use these condoms.

I reckon the proclamation “closest thing to wearing nothing” is a small exaggeration, but the condoms are pretty excellent. They are simple to place on a are larger than they look, and they don’t make you lose the feeling like some other condoms. Still, I’ve used LS original “simple fit” condoms, which I cant find here on Amazon, which were certainly surpass. There are times when I wish I didn’t have to use a condom in the initially place.

I despise to use any of these but, I have to. So I bought these and a few other brands. It’s been fun – I wanted a ‘nothing there’ feeling, so I tried: Crown (best all around for excellent sensation, comfort, breakage,) – Kimono (ehh, too much hype, same mfg standards as Crown) – Beyond 7 (ehhh, I tried the studded, et.al., but didn’t add to the equation)
—– IF YOU ARE looking for a poly* to use, go for the LifeStyles SKYN they come in a really cool GOLD wrapper, feel fantastic, and are the best I’ve found 2nd to my discovery of the Crown Condoms. The new Trojan Supra MicroSheer Poly*, are ok~ish, they feel stiff (not in the excellent way, more like wax paper) and the Durex Avanti also isn’t fantastic. These new Poly* material condoms are fantastic b/c you feel more ‘heat’ though there is less ‘friction’ – it’s a trade of but it really works!
Thankfulness for readin’ – I hope this helps even one self skip the: “hey, I swear this never happens….” line, when the ‘excitement’ softens – I’ll only ‘carry’ the Crown & SKYN

After hearing a lot of hype about these I chose to give them a try instead of our usual Durex Extra Sensitive or Durex Like condoms. These are more stretchable than latex, have a somewhat more natural feel and seem to transmit heat very well. I don’t know if they are “Close to wearing nothing”, but we will certainly use them again. My only minor complain is that they are a small more snug than the Durex’s I mentioned or other Life Styles I’ve used – but they do stretch well so its surely not to the point of being uncomfortable or anything.
Also, a side note – we didn’t notice any type of smell that a couple of other reviewers mentioned – in fact they might have less of a scent that regular latex.
