I bought this unit about 2 years ago and used once or twice a month. One day it was working fine the next nothing, no breeze at all. You can here the motor working, but not turning the bladed.

I picked one of these up last summer. Although I use 3 or 4 other Lasko fans (mostly box fans, which all work fine), this one is really a lemon. At “high” speed, the air flow is barely noticeable 12-inches away. I have a low-cost 6-inch desktop fan ($8) that puts out a much surpass flow of air than the Lasko one can. This fan is way overpriced for what it can deliver. Save your money and get something else.

This is the second Lasko Clip fan I have bought, they are worth the money, as long as you can clip it on to something like your headboard or edge of your desk, you don’t have to worry about it taking space on any surface or anyone knocking it down. In my opinion it’s the best personal fan in the market.

This fan does nearly all its advertisements say. The one major thing that needs enhancement though is the clip. it is not strong enough to hold the fan in the position I needed. Other than that it is fine.

I’ve finally started getting hot flashes. If you already have them you know how miserable they make you feel. I have a box fan in succession on the floor but it didn’t reach my face, neck and chest which is where hot flashes tend to strike.
I chose to look for something that would help. I would wake up hot and in a sweat and just couldn’t get a excellent night sleeps. I saw the way this one was shaped and liked the design. I have a desk aptly next to my bed and chose to clip the fan onto the desk. The fan also swivels in and out so I can push it out of the way when I get up. When I go to sleep I pull it in so it hits aptly in the areas I need.
The fan is two speeds, low and high. Both work fantastic. I’ve felt the tingle of a flash but with the fan on me I never broke out in a sweat. It has really helped to make my nights sleep bearable without in succession my husband from the room because its to cold for him. Its a fantastic compromise to place the air aptly on yourself.
I’m sure people have other uses for this fan, for me, it sends me to sleep with a smile on my face. The air is cool and comforting and really helps to relieve the misery of hot flashes.
