I’ve only owned this unit for 24 hours, but its effectiveness prompts me to place forward a comment. So far, it’s performance exceeds expectations. I rated it at 4 stars due to the noise level.
The unit is compact, and very simple to use. As with all compressor-type units, it is a bit noisy, but since it’s only used for 5-10 minutes at a time, it’s acceptable. The instructions accompanying the unit are a bit intuitive, but simple enough once you identify the referenced components. There are no diagrams to help in assembly, and no “parts list”. A 1-800 number is provided for technical help, or ordering any replacement parts. It comes with a fiber air filter installed, and three replacement filters. The construction of all components appears to be very excellent. The compressor itself is a sealed unit, so any service must be done at the factory.
We got this because I have been suffering with bronchitis for the past week. After only three treatments with an ionic silver solution, my congestion as been relieved, and coughing is productive. This unit can be used with any appropriate prescription tablets as well. It is an reasonably priced alternative to rental units.
