I seem to be allergic to nearly all forms of medical tape including household band-aides. I cant even use paper tape. The only thing i could use was koban which sticks to itself. Well koban is awesome unless u have a need for some let’s on yur leg…well you would have to go around yur total leg for koban to work. My mom had heart surgery awhile back and they sent her home with hypafix tape. After she healed she told me to try to it..let me tell u what a find!!!! A tape i can use…why a doc never suggested this to me is beyond me but omg it rocks!!!!!

I went through major surgeries that required a lot of bandaging, only to learn that I got contact rashes from ALL the tapes!! I kind nurse introduced me to Hypafix, and its awesome. It does not curl when you pull off the back and get stuck to itself. It has nice cutting grids on the back. It breathes. It sticks fantastic, place still peels off without major pain. But best of all – it does not leave me covered in painful rashes. Thank goodness, all this healing I have to do just got way more tolerable!
