Once the thermometer in excellent health from being in my cold car for an hour (the manual helped me work out the error message), everyone loved taking each other’s temperatures. Since we had also warmed up from the cold, we expected to be somewhere close to the normal range but if persons were our actual temperatures, we’d be treated for hypothermia! Accuracy also seemed to improve when the thermometer was warmer, so we’re tentatively optimistic.

Is the worst product I’ve bought from amazon. I’ve read the instructions several times and the lecture of temperature always is incorrect. I reckon I wasted my money and time in this product.

I’ve contacted the company several times with no response as to why this thermometer gives a reading of 96.6 for every self in my family. We’ve followed the directions and done all the book says to do to troubleshoot the problem but to no avail. I really wish I had not wasted the $80 on this thermometer.
