We like the sounds as they are pretty realistic and not annoying like some are. But we have only had it about 6 months and the knob is shorting out. We have to wiggle the knob quite a bit just to get it to stay on now, and even then it still shuts off randomly. We have some friends who have the same one and have already gone through 2 of them in the last year for the same problem. We will be purchasing a different sound machine that will last.

I bought another version of this sound machine a few years back and it worked fantastic for a while. Then it started making loud buzzing noises every once in while (when I was trying to sleep). I figured I had worn it out since I used it every night, all night, while I was sleeping. So I chose to buy another one. This one made the same loud buzzing noise the second night I used it.
