When you consider paying a massage therapist $60- $80 an hour (mine was fantastic until she chose to leave the business), this $100 unit (bought at half price when a our local department store was going out of business) worked fantastic for nine months and then the center fake bar broke rendering the unit useless.
The product is guaranteed for two years. Powerless to find the receipt, I discarded the unit…only to find the receipt later.
Called the manufacturer for a confidence to defray the cost of a new product and the young-sounding lady really didn’t seem to care about my situation and declined any confidence place forward.
Despite these poor consumer relations, I want to buy another unit. But, as others have mentioned–even at my borderline petite height of 5′3″–it didn’t reach my neck much less the top of my shoulders.
I will search online for a similar product and buy one, shortly.
These products–especially with the Shiatsu and heat features–are exceptional for persons of us chained to our computers for long hours each day.

I loved it while it worked. From the moment of opening the box, the demo mode worked fine. Demo went through all the different combinations. But controlling some functions manually in combinations (like adding trembling and heat) didn’t work from the start. The controller doesn’t even power up anymore. The store doesn’t carry Homedics back massagers anymore and shipping the unit is expensive. I am trying to get Homedics to give me confidence for a new one at a local store. I’ll update when I do get confidence.

This extended track model lasted one day then quit completely. The motors froze mid track and the control will no longer turn on. I’ve had surpass quality back massagers from Homedics.
The unit made a loud rubbing noise near the top of the track out of the box which may be a defect or faulty design for the extended track model.
One major problem is that the middle of the traveling bar does not set back far enough and rubs hard against the spine. Very uncomfortable.
The vibrating feature is not worth the extra money and is too harsh.

The roller could be smoother. I have 1,63 m and it doesn’t reach my neck or my shoulder. I have to press spot and go myself to win a massage on my neck and shoulder. But it’s fantastic to transport, because it is light and has a bag. The systems of vibrations, rollers and heat are excellent, but in the next generation, it will be surpass if they pay attention on persons issues.

My wife received this for her birthday and she is loving it. Being a school official is sometimes stressful and she finds this massage cushion to be a fantastic tool to help relieve the stress. It accommodates people of different height easily and does a fantastic job of massaging the back and neck.
