I really bought 2 of these but have since returned them. They are very noisy. I use them on my knees at night and they kept waking up my husband.

I had the older version of this with the knobs that you could adjust the width as well as the heat and the trembling (why use anything but 5?) I reckon the knobs are too far apart and they don’t stick out far enough, it’s hard to reach area’s with it because it doesn’t have the same angle of curve and then the knobs don’t stick out very far…to me it’s a case of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I would not recommend this massager. Sorry Homedics, this is not a “Hom-edics Run” (boy, that was lame!)

Honestly it’s a really fantastic massager; in addition, like others have said, the extending handle is neither a possitive or a negative. There really is nothing negative about the product, it’s probably the best massager you can get for the price

I bought this massager to use on my bhoyfriend’s back who suffers from daily back pain. I have to say that it is heavy, even to use on someone else. I don’t see how I could easily use this on myself. The motor is also very loud, so if you’re trying to watch tv or something else, it’s quite a distraction.
As far as functionality, he says it works fantastic on him and he feels completely relaxed. The heat isn’t as warm as he want to be (not like using a heating pad he says) but it still certainly warms up to the touch.
Overall, this massager does help relax the muscles…if you’re strong enough to hold it!

This product has been extremely helpful in decreasing extent of muscle spasms and pain. The ability to extend the arm improves ability to reach mucscles in lower scapula areas. Rolling the device up and down anterior and lateral thighs assists in myofascial release.
