Product Description
The Geratherm Hypothyroid Basal Thermometer functions in the same way as older mercury thermometers. Contains Galinstan, which is a non-toxic, liquid metal that replaces the toxic mercury. The expanded calibration strip provides an accurate temperature show with a magnifying (optical) case for simple temperature reading. It is suitable for oral or axillary temperature monitoring. Simple to clean or disinfect with alcohol or warm bubbly water. Temperature measuring range is 97 degrees F to 101 degrees F. Sold each.

I have used a glass basal thermometer for years now and I really like this particular one. The one I had previously was skinnier. I like this one because it is a small larger, though I don’t reckon it really matters. You cannot find a basal thermometer in the stores. I looked at a glass thermometer the other day in the store and it is not broken down into tenths, which I reckon is vital. It takes only five minutes to get a temp reading and is very accuate, disparate the basal digital thermometer.
