Used as directed and lost 3 pens when the temperature hit 100 degrees. Foolish me, I kept thinking that the error was mine. We had a small and a large pack. The small pack was essentially worthless, the larger pack seemed to be large enough to keep for for last for a few hours. Works fantastic as long as the temp doesn’t go much over the recommended maximum temperature for your insulin and/or you keep it cool by adding some kind of ice pack. If you’re expecting the answer to having to carry around all the stuff…this isn’t necessarily going to be it.

This is the second FRIO Cooler Wallet I have owned. The initially one kept my insulin cool from San Francisco to Sydney, Australia on a 13 hr flight. Checked into the hotel and the wallet was still cool. I lost or misplaced the initially one so I bought this second one. Haven’t used it yet but am sure it will do the trick for all my travels. Like it!

I like using Frio products. We traveled across the people with the frio, and our insulin stayed exactly the aptly temperature. I carried insulin pens and vials. There was no problem with airport security.
We were in very hot weather, and a couple of times the frio was left in the car. I checked it each time, and the insulin inside was cool to the touch. You do have to make sure to follow the directions for use, and soak the packs for the required time. Also, they can’t be packed in an enclosed space, so I kept them at the top of my tote bag. Frio is a fantastic product; I wouldn’t travel without it!

I’ve used this wallet in high temperatures. Keeping it inside a hot car with windows rolled up during very hot days. The inside of the pack always stayed cool. Been using it daily for around a year now. I don’t use it with the outer cover though.
