I had a cast for 9weeks. I needed to use a bath bench for showering. I wanting a folding bench for simple storage. I found this one on line for a reasonable price. It did fit in the middle of my tub. I found it simpler to use the bench positioned length wise. I felt safer because I had surpass things to gab onto. I am still using it as I now have to wear a boot when permanent. It worked for me.

There are two things incorrect. 1. Its to huge for a ordinary tub. The legs are too wide. 2. It DOES NOT FOLD! (or at least, once I unfolded it, I or my husband could not fold it back up) So its bulky and takes up space. I’m looking for a new one.
I have not had issues with the rubber stops, but I take it out of the tub after I use it, so that may be the difference. I wish I could return it, but I can’t fold it back up to return it.
Don’t buy this item.

Be warned that this bench is too huge for ordinary tubs. I finished up having to use it lengthwise in the tub and sit on one end. Also, after less than two weeks of usage, two of the rubber feet have broken leave-taking only sharp edged metal which will scratch your tub or tile. I’ve now got a small round stool like this one Round Bath Stool With Adjustable Legs to end out my cast confinement.
