Needed a temporary elevated toilet seat due to an injury. Medical suppliers and local retail outlets (HomeDepot, Target, Walgreens, etc) had basically the same style. A 5 inch high toilet seat that set on top of existing seat with a greatly reduced center hole (surpass have excellent aim!). Because of injury, this did not work well. After using this seat, reckon it is surpass than other choices no matter what your issue is. I bought this one after reading R Starks review. It is all that review stated. I just want to provide a small more detail. The seat adds 4 inches and it holds up to 300 lbs. Very simple to install and clean.

I bought this elevated toilet seat for my mother to replace another one that did not lift up. This one is also made out of a different type of material. It is nice to the touch. It makes it simpler to clean the inside of toilet. Also, it gives you a flat piece of rubber to place between it and the base of toilet so it won’t go side to side like the ancient one. Fantastic invention!
