Product fits its description, high quality, very small smell. I have used it for a couple of months now. Disparate other reviewers who mentioned being able to sleep on it comfortably aptly on the floor I found that it was only comfortable on the floor if I was on my back. I am a side sleeper so I place a self-inflating camping mat (2″?) under it and that was perfect. I’m glad I sprung for the thick one, the 4″ one, for my purposes. It is certainly quite thick, so I imagine the 3″ is pretty awesome too.

I was pleased to receive this egg crate mattress. It is surpass quality — thicker — than anything I’ve looked at in stores. And the price is reasonable for the surpass quality.

I had very excellent experience with a medical-quality foam mattress pad before. That one was 4″ thick, but looking at Amazon a full-size 4″ mattress pad would cost about as much as our mattress! So we settled for the 2″ pad and it’s not terrible.
It arrived tightly balled into a small package and wouldn’t lie somewhere near flat at initially. That resolved itself in a couple of days. What didn’t resolve itself is that it was cut about 4″ small in both dimensions. That is the lingering flaw that lowers my star count by one.
It is very comfortable, apart from that it’s not as comfortable as a 4″ would be. If a 4″ thick pad cut to size rates 5 stars, which I reckon it would, then this one rates 3 stars. I recommend it, it’s a honest value, but nothing more.

Most reviewers here must have on paper their reviews after sleeping on the pad for one night, because it feels fantastic at initially. Unfortunately, it soon starts to compress and break down and you feel like you’re sinking. No wonder the return policy is only 10 days, because that’s about how long this thing lasts. I’ve had it 2 months and it already started wearing out several weeks ago. I don’t expect an egg crate pad to last 10 years, but this is ridiculous! And I weigh 170, so I’m not the problem.
