I bought this pad for my husband. He suffers from sleep apnea and needs a pad for neck support. This item was not what he needed. He expected support — but this pad was way, way too soft. His head “squished” aptly into it. Also, the pad came without the comes off cover mentioned in the product description on line.

I use this when watch TV and it helps w/neck strain and preclude headaches. I use it nightly along with my waterpillow and I’m sleeping much surpass again helping to preclude headache. Only down side is there is not a washable cover.

It’s a nice pad, but I second the before review: the pad does not come with a comes off cotton cover. I just submitted feedback for amazon to remove the “Comes off colorless polyester/cotton cover is machine washable” from the description. Still it’s a excellent deal even without the pad case.

This is a very nice and squishy pad, but this item did not come with a comes off cover. I had to buy a cover for it.
