I bought this for my father who has be converted into ill and has be converted into less and less able to stand in the shower to cleanse. The larger seats with backs are too wide for a ordinary tub and this one fits perfectly. I only wish this one hs a back as well since sitting upright unassisted has be converted into increasingly more hard. Otherwise, the quality and size has worked well as well as the ease of getting it in and out of the tub.

I bought this item for my 81 year ancient mother after she broke her hip. I would vastly recommend this product. It’s very sturdy, simple assembly. If you need a shower chair, this is the one to buy.

For several months this chair worked well for my husband who has PD. As a matter of fact a bath chair is an absolute must for the elderly and infirm. Not a platitude. Falls in the shower are responsible for too many deaths.
This a sturdy seat and we are pleased with it.
At the time I looked at transfer seats and plotting they were more than we needed and too complicated but I’m sorry that we didn’t buy one instead of this seat. It was just a matter of months before my husband’s condition escalated. He’s still safe getting into the tub with a bath support bar and the back of this seat but my back is killing me.
Consider the promise for the future and if the situation (for which you need a seat in the initially place) is subject to escalating, look at transfer seats. Buying more than one bath seat is an unnecessary expense when you’ll probably by buying several bathroom aids.
That said my husband was relieved when I place the seat in the tub/shower and has been enjoying the security it provides. In the last few weeks since he has needed help, it has be converted into apparent that I should have upgraded before making this buy.

Exceptional for any elderly self to have mobility and privacy in the shower. Wide comfortable seat and the adjustable height feature is perfect. Very, very simple to assemble in minutes.

Exceptional chair with adjustable legs.. my knees aren’t so excellent so this was a plus I needed. Simple to clean and comfortable seat. Simple to assemble with very small try.
