I’ve been using this silicone gelpad for a few months now and it has greatly reduced my hypertrophic scar. after wearing for 2 months half of my scar is nearly completely gone and the other end of the scar is diminishing. I wear it 24/7 apart from when showering. I’ve not had any tribulations getting it to stick to the scar. It does not itch. If you can be patient this will help reduce your scar.

I’ve been weighed down with manifold keloids since I was a teen. No treatment ever helped in the slightest but at least I could cover the scars with a t-shirt. Unfortunately, I had a mole removed from my wrist and a keloid started to form. After wearing Dr. Blaine’s scar gel religiously for a couple of months the scar really flattened. In 30 years I’ve never had anything really flatten a keloid or stop it in its tracks!!! Now I have the courage to try it on all of my other scars. One day, may be able to wear a strapless dress

I received a crumb on my face from a loss of consciousness. I was worried about the healed wound starting to keloid. Since I’ve been using the gell sheeting at night and a mixture of this E-Sil, vitamin E, Sunscreen and Mederma it’s been reduced much. It takes time and you NEED to clean the pads. I placed some athletic tape on the back side of the pad to have it stay place at night.

My initial result to this item is that it was very thick and gooey and hard to handle…off-putting to the touch and felt uncomfortable on my skin, but I chose to give it a shot anyway becausae my scar was so unattractive. This product claims that the 1 peice of silicone they give you will last for three months…WHAT? Are you kidding? It got so dirty and was not washable as the instructions say to do. The thick gel came off in chunks and since it was gel, I could b=nnot wash it off..it got embedded with the dirt. I bought new ones each week or so…so my 3 months of treatment cost me about 120.00 and NO RESULTS WHATSOEVER! My Scar looks exactly the same as it di 3 months ago. It is still Red, still raised up and thick. What a waste. I will try something of surpass quality…very disappointing. I have used other products that worked on other scars, but they cost more initially so I hoped this cheaper item would work. I have had a few surgeries over the past few years and have 1 more scheduled for my shoulder. I will not use this item. Do not use…not effecive.

I bought this to reduce the visibility of a few laproscopic incisions and while it was simple to cut the silicone gel pad to size, the edges collect fuzz from your clothes though the pads can be washed. Once I had washed the pads, they never regained the same stickyness they had before but were still usable. Overall, I’m uncertain if they helped much, but they surely didn’t hurt.
