Chart your Basal Body Temperature and predict ovulation – your most rich time of the month for conceiving a baby – with a specially designed digital BBT Thermometer. When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order to provide a more rich environment for conception. By monitoring when this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes place in your sequence. Recording each day’s basal body temperature with a BBT Thermometer will help you predict ovulation. The Fairhaven Shape Digital Basal Thermometer provides temperature readings to 1/100th of a degree – perfect for fertility charting and predicting ovulation.

Serious inadequacies in order of substance:
1. No backlight! WTF?! How can someone read this thing initially in the morning without turning on a light?
2. IMPOSSIBLE to push on/off button.
3. Read out to hundredths (97.88) when it should be tenths (98.9) accd to TCOYF.
4. Very slow.
Really useless. I scavenged the battery and threw the rest away. Buy something with a backlight.

I’ve been charting my temps with this thermometer for a small over a month now, and while it works fine, it does not recall the last temp like the product description says its suppose to. Also, it would be really nice if the show lit up. I have to get up aptly after its done and turn on the light so that I can read it. And it seems to take a long time. I’m new to temp charting, so maybe the time it takes for the thermometer to get your temp is fine, but it feels like it takes forever.

It’s made out to be one of the best thermometers for ovulation but I found that it just didn’t work very well, at all.
The reading took forever, it never beeped, and my temperature was at 92f? Umm yeah that’s not even close… I do know very well, how to take my temperature, So I’m not sure what the problem was.
My Husband tried it too but it was also reading his temp at 92f…
Just use a calendar and get knocked up, it’s simpler and more effective.

This thermometer is very acurate and reliable. I am tracking my BBT for fertility reasons, and I like that I can roll over in bed, take my temperature, and I have ten minutes before I really have to get out of bed to confirmation the reading.

THis product works for what I want it for. I do not really use the charts, but it works excellent. it does not recall the last temperature, like it should, but it stays up a long time.
