As someone who both injures my hands a lot and is a beat of a clean freak, I’ve done an extensive search for bandages that won’t fall apart or peel off when I wash my hands. I’ve been using the Curad Extreme Hold for some time now.
The bandages are thick and durable. They are made of a knit fabric-like material that will normally last 2 or 3 days, and dozens of interactions with water, without needing to be replaced. The material does not come unraveled easily like similar bandages. The glue is strong and won’t peel off over time. The one issue I’ve had is that something in the glue starts to exasperate my skin if the bandage stays soaked with water for several hours. Make sure that you dry out the surface after washing your hands.
The package includes four different sizes which are fantastic for oddly located injuries:
-18 normal sized 7/8″ by 3″ strips
-4 XL sized 2″ by 3 3/4″ strips
-4 Fingertip bandages with angular sides
-4 knuckle bandages with thin wings to wrap around the edges of curved body parts
In summary, the Curad Extreme are the best bandages I’ve used, and a fantastic deal for the durability they provide.
