I bought this with the Penquin humidifier because it was with the “most regularly bought together” set. Problem is that it won’t go with my penquin model. Watch out!

I bought the Hello Kitty humidifier for my daughter before I realized that it used a different filter than the Crane Duck humidifier I bought my son. It was frustrating that they didn’t match, but I like the way the Hello Kitty filter works much surpass and the next humidifier I buy will be compatible with this type of filter. It takes a minute to get the water flowing through the filter, but it seems to catch any “colorless dust” that would otherwise come out. And when i take it out of the humidifier and set it by the sink, it seems to dry out nicer than the other filter. Added bonus: my 2 year ancient likes to help set up the humidifers and can insert this one by himself.

When I placed the filter into the humidifier, the device would not work. Once I removed it, it worked fine. Don’t waste your money!!!

Others have complained of colorless dust and other issues. I have had no problem with them. I just got bothkids and only needed the long one for my model.

What a horrible product! I plotting that some of the negative reviews could have been a terrible batch of filters. Well, that wasn’t the case. I used the filter in the humidifier, rinsed it out before use, and in the morning, the water twisted brown. It was dreadful. Not only was the water brown in the bottom of the humidifier, but the mist was brown too (saw the droplets on the stand). Don’t even bother with this product. AWFUL!
