This product contains an antihistamine, which is not present in the daytime product of the same name. In some people, this can cause significant drowsiness, hence the exclusion of the antihistamine component from the daytime formulation. For evening use, but, it is very nice because it really helps with sleep and I find that I awake in the morning with nasal passages that are dried out and usually patent. For me, this is tbe best over-the-counter cough and cold preparation, but it is only intended for nighttime use.
