Claritin used to work for me. The pill is very small that makes it very simple to swallow. No drowsy effect which is a huge plus. The initially year, it was exceptional. Then the following year I have to supplement Claritin with Flonase nasal spray to combat my allergy. I feel like I got immuned to it that it does not work as excellent as before. Also, Loratidine is now unfilled generically for a much lower price.

Difficulty Headaches, uncontrollable bouts of sneezing, grogginess from allergies and sinus tribulations are what ragweed and other regular allergies do to me. I hesitated trying this product before now because I assumed it was an everyday all the time type of product. It’s not! I woke sneezing and stopped up with a horrible headache that pounded with each sneeze. Surrounded by 30 minutes of taking this tiny pill my headache was gone and I’d stopped sneezing! I was so impressed! I waited a few days and took another one for the same symptoms and once again I got relief. The product is a small on the pricey side, especially if you are one of persons who have non regular allergies but struggle it daily. I have experienced only one side effect. The product makes me tired. Of course so do the headaches. I’m sure it would have a different effect on different people. For this reason I do not suggest purchasing this in bulk until you try it for yourself a few times. I do recommend trying this product! I hope it helps others as well as it has me!

This stuff made me sicker than a dog. Heart palpitations, shaking, insomnia, frequent urination, dry mouth, headache, terrible temper, confusion. If you read around the internet, which I did after I took it, unfortunately, all of these side effects are common.

I am allergic to honestly mainstream things: dust, mold, cats, and many pollens.
Claritin doesn’t do a thing for my sneezing (the uncontrollable 6 in a row kind, makes your eyes water, then starts again 10 minutes later kind).
I get hives if I encounter catness on my skin (touching a cat, or hugging somebody who has cats).
Claritin (Loratadine) does nothing for that, either.
I am still searching for something that does work without making me drowsy. Chlor-Trimeton (chlorapheniramine maleate) does work for my allergies (both sneezing and hives) but makes me very drowsy, and powerless to do my work if I take it.
Claitin-D (Loratadine and Pseudoephedrine) does nothing for the allergies but, boy does it boost my mood and productivity! SPEEEEEEEEEEED!!!!!!! Then when it wears off I wannna die. So I only tried that 3 times.
I remain in search of something that will help with the sneezing and hives while still allowing me to work at a job requiring special treatment.
